Okay so on my adventure to redecorate our guest bedroom I thought I would start with small pieces of inspiration. I made this three-tiered vanity tray for less than five bucks!
3 different shaped metal trays from the Dollar Tree
2 different candle sticks from the goodwill
Hot glue gun
It took less than five minutes and I absolutely love it. You can get different sized candle sticks depending on how you want to organize your make-up. When I glued them together I didn’t get them lined up quite right but you can hardly tell!
These would be great in the kitchen to for cupcakes or other h’orderves!
Happy Home Making!

Alright so here is my guest room as it sits right now. We have been here for a year, and I still have not gotten to making this room useful. For inspiration I have carried on the shabby chic motif from my master bedroom. I am setting a 200 dollar budget for myself. Let’s see if I can make it happen. With help from my best friend Caitlin this is what I hope to achieve.
Overall a Paris inspired vanity and wardrobe room. Some must have’s…
A chandler similar to the one in my master
A cocktail bar
A vanity for all my make-up and primping materials
A lounging space to relax
And most of all a wardrobe to display my favorite pieces (including shoes)
Work will begin next week and I am giving myself a month to complete the entire project all under 200 dollars. Do you think I can do it?
Follow the project here with at the minimum once a week updates, plus a few extras along the way :)
